  • The air is cooling down, the nights are drawing in and this can only mean that it's time for another Women's 100 ride!

This year we've prepared a Tour of the Forth as gentle 100k loop, with only a couple of modest climbs at the beginning as we make our way towards Queensferry and then the same as we make our way back to the city. We've chosen quiet paths and more importantly amazing views over the water on both sides, and with a couple of surprises thrown in for good measure. Route here: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1225309483

Did we mention that we have not one, not two but three cafe / snack stops planned? If this doesn't seal the deal, I don't know what will.

This ride is for anyone who wants company on a chatty 100km pace but especially anyone who is wary tackling the big 100km. Nobody, and we really mean NOBODY will be left behind. We're starting at 9am and we've got all day to get back to Edinburgh.

This is an unsupported ride (albeit in very supportive company), which means brings your own tools, spare tubes, spare lights, plenty of snacks and water, etc. Don't worry if you are not super confident with bike maintenance, there will be lot's of people around that are happy to offer assistance where needed. It's not going to hurt to do an M check on your bike a couple of days before setting off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qtx60bcNk0

We encourage those who have GPS devices to download the route or keep it handy on your phone. This is a no-drops group, however, in the unlikely event we get separated, it's good to have it to hand. While we hope that the weather won't be too moody, we do ask that you check it on the day and layer appropriately.

Can't wait to see you all and you're beautiful steeds on Sunday. Any questions, leave a comment here or DM us on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/queens.of.pain.cc/
