Squeezing in one last Bonaly Experiment before the end of summer.
New tarmac and new climbs for Experimental Bonaly Hillz V2.1 so please make sure you have the updated route below.
Although the route is all on road, I recommend a gravel bike if you have the option. Road bikes will be passable you just need to believe in yourself and be careful on a couple of bits. I would also recommend bringing lights as the nights are drawing in quickly.
Post-ride drinks at Golf Tavern or Summerhall.
1800 meet outside Toppings for an 1815 depart.
Essentially the idea is two hours of short, sharp efforts, a good natter and a pint afterwards.
It's 'run wot u brung' and all bikes and abilities are welcome. You take the hills at your own pace and the flats are completely relaxed for rest/chatting. Normal club run rules apply, "No manners, no spanners" Don't be a dick & Don't ride like a dick.
Please download the route if possible as it makes keeping the group together much easier.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
