This week we are starting from John Lewis, just in front of St Mary's RC Cathedral. I'll post the route tomorrow or Tuesday (hence the mystery), but with me you know there'll be a short pause somewhere to tell you a wee story about Embra's past. And it won't be anything too strenuous - in fact, it will be just what you know you need on a Wednesday evening.
As always, this is a strictly no-drop ride and we will wait at key points to keep the group together.. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QoMs. The only essential thing to bring is a working bike - any type will do. We're into long evenings now, but fully charged lights are always a good idea, and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help).
