Edinburgh Hills
Essentially the idea is 2 hours of short, sharp efforts, a good natter and a pint afterwards.
1800 Meet outside Toppings for a 1815 depart.
Its 'run wot u brung' and all bikes and abilities are welcome (I have done this route on 73" and it was bang on). You take the hills at your own pace and the flats are completely relaxed for rest/chatting. Normal club run rules apply, "No manners, no spanners" Don't be a dick & Don't ride like a dick.
Covid conscious ride and pint at the Albany after if there's time/people fancy it.

Edinburgh Hills
A copy of the 'legendary' south London hills social rides. Essentially the idea is 2 hours of short, sharp efforts, a good natter and a pint afterwards.

London to Shoreham by Sea
A fish and chip quest to S-b-S using the old trackbed of the Cranleigh and Steyning Lines. Even though it’s a stone cold tragedy that these lines were disposed of so ramblers and could pervert the countryside, they now afford an opportunity for the RTC to reclaim them by bike.
Rough route is below, all arguing over it is here
Everyone is welcome, no specialist or fashionable bikes are required, there is no rush and I have it on good authority that @PhilDAS cannot attend.
Meet at the IH at 8am

Rides can still run, as we are fully compliant with the guidelines from British Cycling - we have a Covid Co-ordinator (@Rob ) and a Risk Assessment
We meet across the country, but please do remember that you must adhere to ALL of the existing guidelines on social distancing for the country that you are in and group meeting numbers that currently exist (8 max per ride as a club rule)
For track and trace please make sure you create an event on the forum and that people attending have logged on, been granted membership and have clicked 'attending'. People must do this to attend the ride, they cannot just turn up and join in.
The organiser of the local ride should be the proxy of the club covid coordinator for that ride and should read and be in agreement with the Risk Assessment attached below.
if you have any questions, or if anything isn't clear, please ask
thanks
Rob
