Right. Big group tonight so please take note of the following
Meeting point
- There are 15 of us, so its a big visible group
- When we meet please stand 2m apart and don't block the pavement
- If the normal spot is congested we can move up the hill slightly and across the road and assemble behind the carshare cars, parked just before the Green side building
Groups
- We will split into two (maybe three) groups
- @GrantS will take the Zwift specialists ride.
- I will take the standard hills group. If its your first time out, this is the group you should be looking at, but I'm not going to be prescriptive.
- We need an even split, so if you make the wrong choice I will quickly correct it for you
Castle finish route tonight
- There are 15 of us, so its a big visible group

Edinburgh Hills - Ride limited to 15 people split between two groups
Essentially the idea is 2 hours of short, sharp efforts, a good natter and a pint afterwards.
1800 Meet across the road from Toppings for a 1815 depart.
Its 'run wot u brung' and all bikes and abilities are welcome (I have done this route on 73" and it was bang on). You take the hills at your own pace and the flats are completely relaxed for rest/chatting. Normal club run rules apply, "No manners, no spanners" Don't be a dick & Don't ride like a dick.

I’ve decided that we’ll split this into two groups on Tuesday
Not because we can’t ride as one group, but because two groups seems sensible and sensitive (to people who might not be able to indulge in their hobby) at the mo.
We can have a “Turbo Jockeys” group that @GrantS can lead and I’ll take out the “Fridge lifters”
See you all on Tuesday, quite excited!

CHRISTMAS HILLS
1800/1815 meet at the tile of Calton Hill for a beer, then ride down to the beach at Trinity for another socially distance tin, before picking out the choice sections (all the flat bits) of route up to the high street and a few beers at the Albanach
Ride is limited to 7, but pub obvs isn’t as long as all Covid rules are followed and common sense is used.
For people heading straight to pub, I reckon we’ll be there about 19-30/20-00

Stockbridge free Trinity Hills route version, but I’ll give it a slight tweak.....

I'm away for this one but @TomM & @user66704 (Graham) will be sorting the finer details out.
There was some chat last night about an April Fools 'backwards' route, but I will leave that joy to you all to work out :)
