Hey gang,
Adna is back at the helm this week and she's planning to take you on a little westward suburban adventure. Route will be uploaded in the comments before the ride. Let's do this!
You know the drill, strictly no-drop ride. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do.
Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help). Our rides are completely self supported which mean we will be there for you as best we can but you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and wellbeing.

Boom! ONE HUNDRED QoP rides!
Come celebrate this HUGE milestone with us. Adna will lead a new special one off route starting at John Lewis and finishing at Bramblers in Leith Links. There's gonna be pizza and a drink for a tenner at the end! Nobody likes cold pizza, so we'll start sharp at 7pm for this one.

Ho ho ho,
Let's get one more ride in before Christmas! Ruby will lead the merry group on a loop starting from Leith Links. Fairy links strongly encouraged is you've got some around.
No drops as always. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. The days are getting shorter so fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube or plugs to fix a puncture is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).
Shine bright like a Christmas tree topper.

Since it's going to be freezing I've changed the route slightly so we stay on roads that are less likely to ice over: https://www.komoot.com/tour/990923793

Hello lovelies!
The temperature has dropped considerably this week. But not a worry - I've got a plan to save us the big bucks spent on indoor heating. We're gonna have a run at doing the Three Peaks route this week starting from John Lewis.
Race as fast as you want up the hill (or not!), we'll wait up for everyone to catch their breath before moving on to the next one.

All fixed now, sorry @Anna!

Hello hello hello!
Yep, it's dark and sometimes rainy and sometimes windy and sometimes even sucky. And yes, it's honestly hard to get on the bike this time of the year but we keep doing it! And you know what, you always 100% feel better for doing it - at least I do!
So show up and let's do it together this week. Motivation to get out en masse! Thanks Judith who agreed to lead us on a little loop this week.

Yellow!
We are going on a north Edinburgh suburban extravaganza which will end at Lost in Leith for a QoP social at 8pm. We are using Adna's and Kimberly's birthdays as an excuse, but really there is no need as everyone likes beer and pizza!
Two important messages:
We will leave promptly at 7pm, and we really mean it this time. No waiting, not even one minute, so don't say you weren't warned. Adna will share the group's location on whatsapp so please join us on the way if you can't make it in time, or find us at the pub at the end! The route will also be posted below.
If you are coming to the pub, bring a lock!

Heeey everyone,
Plenty of notice for this week's ride: it will be short and spicy! Meet up in front of John Lewis after which we will climb Calton Hill (Peak 1!), make our way to Holyrood (Peak 2!) and from there go up to the castle (Peak 3!). We'll take it nice and easy - this is no hill climbing championship :) . Bonus is that you are guaranteed to stay warm on this ride!

Re-run of this past route:

Hey guys!
I and my jelly un-biked legs are back. I actually liked the last summer ride I did so much - that it's the first one I'm going to re-run as this week's ride. I will feel very pathetic climbing up Kaimes, but please humour me!
