Hi Friends!
This is Adna's last ride for this summer. Come on a westward suburban adventure!
No drops as always. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do. The days are long now but fully charged lights are a must incase we get held up and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube or plugs to fix a puncture is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).
C'ya there!

Hello QoPlettes!
It's Alice's birthday! We're going for a short spin after which we will get together with a beer for a wee impromptu birthday party in George Sq.

Hello friends!
After a long break - Adna is back and hungry for a ride! This probably means that we'll do her favourite loop around the Braids. Pace will be just right for that recovery ride that some of our qoplettes need!

Ciao ragazzi!
This week we will meet at Bramblers, cycle ramble for about an hour, and then return to the same place where we will order some pizza.

Howdy babes!
Judith is the hero who will lead this week's ride. Meet up at Leith Links (on the pavement opposite Triangles) for a 7pm departure, and a little seaside jaunt.

Hello, you Royal Beings!
Adna missed out on the fun of riding the Alleycat. So she's gonna lead a procession this Wednesday following the #QOP365 Alleycat. Her version of the route will be posted below in due course. Note that we will end at Summerhall and not back at John Lewis!
Yes, there will be extra spoke cards flying around! Come join in on the fun.
Also, get excited about enjoying cycles in the daylight. This doesn't mean don't bring lights because we never know what might happen and it's always better to be over-prepared.

Hey bike buds!
This one will be an emotional ride for the QoP mammas who will be away planning a #QOP365 Alleycat extravaganza which is happening Friday 29th at 7pm.
So this is the first time when neither Ruby or Adna will be around, BUT don't get too excited and plan crazy things, as Saz will be there to keep a watchful eye (hopefully two!). She has a great route and will be waiting for all of you at Bristo Sq for a 7pm departure.

Oh my...
We did it. Reached the milestone that is the last ride of the first QoP YEAR. We'll finish it up ouroboros style and retrace the very first route we did.
We'll end on a high, by grabbing some beers at Brewdog on Lothian Rd at 8:30 pm. Let us know in the comments if you would like to join and haven't signed up yet, so that we can add more seats to the reservation. Otherwise, we'll just wing it and get cosy on the day :)
To make sure we won't run late for beer hour, we will leave sharply at 7 pm. Adna will be at the start from 6:45 onwards being all emotional. Come give her a hug (or an air hug if your name is Kimberly).
Everything else stays as always, no drop rule as we will wait at key points to keep everyone together. Can't wait to awkwardly hop through the barriers of Love Lane together with you ladies!

Route for tomorrow: https://www.komoot.com/tour/711780048

Hey there,
Eeeek we are getting close to the 1y mark!
We're gonna attempt another pedal vs party pace group split this week so let us know in the comments below in which gang you are likely to roll. The Party pace is the usual, no need for speed vibe. The power pedal group will hang on at an 18kph minimum average. Adna & Ruby will lead this week on a central loop. Keep your eyes peeled for the route, which will be unveiled in the next day or so.
Both groups will be no drop as always as we will wait at key points to keep everyone together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do. Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we are in rainy, icy season and we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tire is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).
Ride on babes!

Hello pedal people!
Back to good ol' John Lewis start. Have fun playing the dodge the tram barricades on your way in :). Adna will be back at the helm this week with a nice party pace vibe and an option to split into two groups if we get busy. Route to be posted in due course tomorrow :)
