Week 108 AND or 2nd birthday week (don’t do the maths or ask questions) so we are having an extra social social ride. Leaving from Leith Links, Ruby will lead you on a gentle ride through the city towards Portobello where we will get some extra time hanging out over pizza and chips! We’ll keep an eye on the weather and move the party indoors if it’s looking too wet and cold.
You know the drill, strictly no-drop ride. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do.
Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help). Our rides are completely self supported which mean we will be there for you as best we can but you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and wellbeing.
Thanks for getting QoP through another fun year of riding!

The end is nigh BUT not for QoP. It’s been a whirlwind of a year. We did an Alleycat and celebrated out 1st anniversary, we did our first Intro to Bikepacking experience, we led a Womens100 ride in true QoP style, we got an FKT (we suppose that was all up to Saz), we lost and found a cat, we broke a couple of bones and made lots of new friends and so, so much more!! Bring on 2023!!
No drops as always. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. It's cold and dark but we have each other! It's going to feel good to get out on your bike with a bunch of cool folks to get you through the midweek slump. Fairy lights not compulsory but anything to add some extra cheer and sparkle to the week is welcome :)

Temperatures are crazy for November - don't forget, bikes fight climate change and it's not only men in Lycra that like to cycle. A wee bike ride is also just a really nice thing to do for yourself if you're in need of a little self-love.
Anyway! Adna's in charge this week and will post the route nearer the time.

We're doing a bit of Tram Works avoidance this week and heading out Westward from the Botanics. Adna is on the hunt for some new streets so it will be a classic QoP adventure!

This week we will be led over the braids by the very charming Judith.
It is getting colder and wetter out there so can everyone please do their best to arrive 5mins early so we can set off at 7pm sharp and avoid anyones fingers falling off in the cold :)

It is well and truly autumn out there and what's the one thing better than a pumpkin spiced latte to keep you warm on these dark, dreich evenings..? A cycle around Edinburgh with your good buddy's at QoP of course!

Hello! Just a small note to say we have updated the route slightly to avoid the Scottish Half Marathon run that will be taking place tomorrow. The Ride With GPS route above has been updated so be sure to refresh the route before we set off if you would like to have it on you.
Excited to see you all soon! Anna & Ruby x
Change of plan everyone. We will still leave from Leith Links but we will now be finishing at the Omni Center food market. That way we should be able to hang out together and watch our bikes without getting soaked. Can’t wait to see you all!
Here’s the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42428058
