Join Judith this week for a little southwest loop!
You know the drill, strictly no-drop ride. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do.
Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help). Our rides are completely self supported which mean we will be there for you as best we can but you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and wellbeing.

Time to kick off 2023 with a little ditty: Queens are taking over the city with bikes and fun that is free! First QoP of the year—come one, come all.
No drops as always. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do. The days are still short (although getting longer!) so fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube or plugs to fix a puncture is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).

This week as a summer solstice special we will have two rides running with Judith, Ruby and Naomi as leaders!
One will be a more classic QoP ride—under 20km, party pace, and exploring our beautiful city. The other will be longer—30km—and include some mixed surfaces (gravel paths). The 30k route will be heading towards Dalmeny House and back! Routes to be posted before the ride.
You will be able to choose your adventure on the day! But if you know already—leave a comment to let us know if you’re thinking of the shorter or longer ride.
We will set off at 7 pm and both rides will be strictly no-drop rides. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do.
