Hello Queens! Let's go for a mystery tour of southside, Morningside and that side of town that is generally south of the Meadows.
We'll be taking this ride at our relaxed community pace. As always, it's a strictly no-drop ride and we will wait at key points to keep the group together. Our group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential things to bring are a working bike (any type will do) and fully charged lights (cos it'll be dark). We also encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help).
Our rides are completely self supported which means we will be there for you as best we can but by signing up for this ride, you agree that Queens of Pain and the ride leaders are not responsible for your safety - you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and well being.

There's something in the air- the leaves are starting to change, and it's forecast to be 10C on Wednesday night. Don't let that put you off- this time of year also means, chance for an epic QoP sunset- so, lets trundle out to the Braids Hill for what might be (no promises) a decent show... Please remember your lights! It will get dark during the ride, and maybe bring an extra layer...

This week we're going for a survey of Edinburgh's bike paths, north edition. We'll start off from John Lewis, and head along George Street to pick up the newly opened (and partly closed again) CCWEL then join the Roseburn Path up to the seafront, then for a wee wiggle into Trinty (where there may be a surprise in store...)
Please join us afterwards at Edinburgh Street Food for a natter and hopefully some sunny refreshments! Route to posted shortly...
