Join the Queens of Pain on a mixed ride, the first Monday of the month. We already open our bigger events to everyone but some of our guy pals have been keen to jump on the QoP bandwagon on a more regular basis. As our Wednesday rides are a sacred safe space for the cycling WTNB community, we will run these mixed rides once a month. These rides will run with the same ethos and values as all our events.

This month, join Kimberly and Helen on a tour of some of the finest off-road shared cycle paths around the city and out to Silverknowes Esplanade. We'll meet at the Junction of Easter Road and Duke Street, opposite Twelve Triangles. Route below.

No drops as always. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOM/KOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do. Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet!

A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube or plugs to fix a puncture is a must and some basic tools would be helpful but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).

Our rides are completely self supported which mean we will be there for you as best we can but you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and well-being.

    Happy December!

Due to high demand we have decided to trail run some mixed rides. We already open our bigger events to everyone but some of our guy pals have been keen to jump on the QoP bandwagon on a more regular basis. Join Kimberly and Helen on a bike-path-heavy loop out to the Cramond Prom. We'll leave Leith Links opposite Twelve Triangles. The route has minimal riding on road, so should allow for some good nattering.
