Come and join Charlotte for some strategically placed uphill cobbles to warm you up, a little tram appreciation and some of the best cycling infrastructure Edinburgh has to offer.

We'll be taking this ride at our relaxed community pace. As always, it's a strictly no-drop ride and we will wait at key points to keep the group together.

These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do - and fully-charged lights. We also encourage you to wear a helmet.

A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube or plugs to fix a puncture is a must and some basic tools would be helpful but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).

Our rides are completely self supported which means we will be there for you as best we can but you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and wellbeing.

Hope to see as many of you there as possible x

    Route here.

    Hello Queens!

UPDATE : 5 November 20:30 I have made an update so we avoid roadworks over a bike/pedestrian crossing on Queen Street- now it goes down Hanover St to Dundas St to the Warriston Path.

Join us for a route less travelled on the cycle paths up to Leith, through Lochend Park, scooting around Queen's Drive and through the Meadows back into the city. This route starts and ends at our Newhaven meeting point by the harbour.

Our group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential things to bring are a working bike (any type will do) and fully charged lights (cos it'll be dark). We also encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help).

Our rides are completely self supported which means we will be there for you as best we can but by signing up for this ride, you agree that Queens of Pain and the ride leaders are not responsible for your safety - you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and well being.

Join the Queens of Pain on a mixed ride on the first Monday of the month. We already open our bigger events to everyone but some of our guy pals have been keen to jump on the QoP bandwagon on a more regular basis. As our Wednesday rides are a sacred safe space for the cycling WTNB community, we will run these mixed rides once a month. These rides will run with the same ethos and values as all our events.

This month we'll meet opposite the Botanics West Gate on Arboretum Place then ride out to Davidson Mains, via a seafront stretch along Crammond, past Wardie Bay and back to the Botanics.

No drops as always. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOM/KOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do. While we're riding in the light, you'll need to get home safely so fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet!

I’m pulling out because of family commitments but I’m thinking to do the same route at 6am on Sunday starting from the botanics if anyone else would like to join me. I’d like to be back by 2pm
