Please note, the route has been updated this morning to avoid roadworks & difficult right turns. A calm evening is forecast - see y'all later!

    Hello Queens!

Once again Eve has picked out a classic QoP route, Adna's famous tour of Calton Hill, Arthur's Seat and Castlehill, starting and finishing at the lower entrance to John Lewis, just in front of St Mary's RC Cathedral. The clocks have just gone back so when better to take the opportunity to gaze down on our beautiful City at Night from three world-famous viewpoints?

We'll be taking this ride at our relaxed community pace. As always, it's a strictly no-drop ride and we will wait at key points to keep the group together. Our group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential things to bring are a working bike (any type will do) and fully charged lights (cos it'll be dark). We also encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help).

Our rides are completely self supported which means we will be there for you as best we can but by signing up for this ride, you agree that Queens of Pain and the ride leaders are not responsible for your safety - you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and well being.

    See you on Wednesday!

    Hello Queens!

This week Eve is leading us around a classic QoP route, starting and finishing on John's Place, at the north corner of Leith Links, and taking in Lochend Park, Figgate Park and Holyrood Park. So park your derrieres on your saddles and join us!

    Hello Queens!

As we all draw breath after the cultural frenzy of the last few weeks, join Eve for a gentle spin around north Edinburgh. With no hills to speak of, and most of it on easy cyclepaths, this route is so chilled it even looks like a tortoise (a bit)! Meeting point is on John's Place, at the north corner of Leith Links.

As usual, this is a strictly no-drop ride and we will wait at key points to keep the group together. It may still be summer but fully charged lights are always a must for your way home, and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. Here's the route for tomorrow. We'll be pausing briefly a couple of times to look at two historic houses in Musselburgh (unless they lock the gates at night!), but otherwise it's an easy, almost flat cycle down to the seaside. https://www.komoot.com/tour/1766169477?share_token=apodGhrspMmSCr5fEfZyREFD4dMpBjipS7xOWEyVVRAXIwJyVJ&ref=wtd
