I've reserved a USE 6 pack for my handle bars. It'll hopefully get me 15 hours. I've various back up lights which I'll bring, for my helmet mount.
There is a 'camper battery' in the campervan which is separate to the engine battery, so we can charge off that. I believe USE will swap the rented lights for a charged set.
To reserve a USE set you can ring or email them and they'll out you on the list.

@Rob & @Colm. Bad news, just off the blower with my brother. His company is after getting a couple of California's worth of a tax bill from Irish Revenue for having someone working for them who's domiciled in Ireland. Long story short, we need to hire a van. I'll handle all the logistics with respect to pick up and drop off etc., As well as booking. Looks like ~180 for a two berth from Friday to Monday. It doesn't cost much more for the bigger ones, but I'm not sure on license requirements for them.

Cool.
I have ambitions of bringing a large tent, one we could stand in with no ground sheet (basically a gazebo) for extra shelter. If it had rained last year we'd have been shagged.
@rob fancy making a Swedish log? Or should we dare mention the infamous Pizza oven that never was?

I'll be aiming to arrive early on the Friday to try and get a spot on the fire road.
@luker who did you email about lights last year?
And @rob wrt your question on WA about parking;
"To gain access to the site you will need to collect your team's Parking Pass from Square Wheels in Strathpeffer between 12.00 and 17.30 on Friday or between 18.00 and 22.00 at the site entrance on Friday evening or between 07.00 and 09.00 at the site entrance on Saturday morning.You cannot collect your pass before 12.00 on Friday and you won't be able to get onto the site without it. One Parking Pass per Team ONLY."
Each of us will have to pick up a token.

Yep, Edinburgh collection.
As for after, I've to drop back the camper at 3 on the Monday, so might just drive as far as Inverness then sleep (I imagine I'll be tired)
