We did it. Reached the milestone that is the last ride of the first QoP YEAR. We'll finish it up ouroboros style and retrace the very first route we did.
We'll end on a high, by grabbing some beers at Brewdog on Lothian Rd at 8:30 pm. Let us know in the comments if you would like to join and haven't signed up yet, so that we can add more seats to the reservation. Otherwise, we'll just wing it and get cosy on the day :)
To make sure we won't run late for beer hour, we will leave sharply at 7 pm. Adna will be at the start from 6:45 onwards being all emotional. Come give her a hug (or an air hug if your name is Kimberly).
Everything else stays as always, no drop rule as we will wait at key points to keep everyone together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do. Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tire is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).
