  • Let's roll on a mid-week after work adventure!

We are trying something new. This is not our classic party pace guided ride. Instead - you decide the pace and the time when you want to leave home so that you make it to the chippy in Bo'ness before they close at 7pm! If you are feeling social use the comments section below or the whatsapp group to find a ride buddy. If you want to race it - go for it! If you want to take your time and have a fun afternoon out- you do you! No matter how you get there- the mass finish means that we will enjoy some top notch deep fried foods in one classy establishment as a group (you'll know what I mean once you get there).

Suggested route for the ride: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1198540734 . A bit shy of 33k, of which approximately 4-5kms are unpaved but on good quality compacted gravel tracks (ok on a road bike, have tested on 28mm and 32mm slicks). I'd suggest aiming for a 6:30pm finish to have time to order and eat.

Return to the city by following the same track back or save your legs the trouble and catch a train from Linlithgow (6km ride away, 3-4 trains every hour, £6 and 20min later you're back to Waverley). There'll be more people around for impromptu group rides back if that's your jam.

Needless to say, but similar to all our regular self-supported rides you agree that QoP and the ride leaders are not responsible for your safety.

    Chips Ahoy!
