  • Queens of Pain! Let's Roll. We're going to ride bikes and support women's sport by watching a stage of the Tour De France Femmes. Sign up for the ride here or just join us in Bellfield Brewery (46 Stanley Place) from 3 o'clock to watch the race. All bodies, all bikes welcome.

This event is to bring people together and support everyone on bikes - you don't need to know anything about professional road cycling to attend. Kids and dogs welcome at the pub and on the ride - but do reach out to @queensofpain on Instagram if you're bringing a dog on the ride.

RIDE INFO: Meet at 1:15 in Leith Links for a 17km (10 mile) ride departing at 1:30 which will finish at Bellfield Brewery in time for the race kicking off at 15:05. We've included a climb up Calton Hill to reflect the mountain stage being ridden by the Femmes. Route below. Bring a lock.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFO: This is a strictly no-drop ride. The only essential thing to bring is a working bike - any type will do. Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tyre is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (if disaster strikes, you will get help)

Our rides are completely self supported which mean we will be there for you as best we can but by signing up for this ride, you agree that Queens of Pain and the ride leaders are not responsible for your safety - you are ultimately responsible for your own safety and wellbeing (and that of any kids, pets).

    Allez, allez, allez!

  • ROUTE CHANGE There are roadworks on Montrose Terrace so we've dropped Calton Hill and we're doing a closed road loop of Arthurs Seat instead. See below.
