Let's try this again and hope 'Storm Franklin' doesn't get in our way this week!
Same as last week but with some actual riding! Meet art Bristo Square where Ruby will take us on a loop around town. Depending on how many people show up, we will split into two smaller no drop & party pace groups. Ruby will aim to be there 10mins early to great everyone.
Everything else stays the same: we will wait at key points to keep the group together. These group rides are more about claiming some precious & potholed tarmac space, rather than chasing QOMs. The only essential thing to have is a working bike - any type will do. Fully charged lights are a must and we encourage you to wear a helmet! A small request that everyone checks their brakes beforehand as we are in rainy, icy season and we want to keep you all safe. A spare tube to fix a flat tire is a must and some tools would be grand but there will always be someone with tools to help out if you need to borrow anything (in case disaster strikes, you will get help with it).
Ride on babes!

@Anna If you are still happy to lead the Party Pace group I might join the Power Pedal this week to even out numbers. No pressure though.

Hi (sorry can't see your name on here), I can give it a go. I should be able to make it to JL 15mins early on Wednesday and others will be happy to help too I'm sure. Is it front or back? Otherwise if you are near Leith/The Shore I can meet you somewhere beforehand that's more convenient if that helps? Can even do tonight.

It's the first QoP ride of the year, let's start it strong!
Back to usual scheduling. Meet up is in front of John Lewis for a 7pm departure! Wear your thick gloves and your cosiest base layer and be prepared for some drizzle.
As always this is a strictly no-drop ride. We will wait at key points to keep the group together. It's the last QoP ride of the year folks!
In the spirit of the Festive 500 season we will be running a longer route this week with an earlier than usual departure time. Adna is going to lead us out to Preston Pans and back to help those who are participating in the F500 to get a few extra km's in! We're talking around 30km so with the earlier start our finish time should stay around the same as most weeks.
Meet up is in front of John Lewis for a 6pm departure! Wear your thick gloves and your cosiest base layer and be prepared for some drizzle.

Good tidings to you all!
Adna will be heading up this weeks ride with an easy breezy loop to Crammond. A little longer than the last few weeks so be sure to have a snack beforehand. We will aim to keep it under 1hr 30mins and as always you are welcome to peel off early - just be sure to let us know before you go!
Meet up is in front of John Lewis for a 7pm departure! The sooner we leave the more time we will have to enjoy all the Christmas sparkle as we ride past some embellished establishments!.

This Wednesday we are officially in the last month of the year so let's squeeze in some views and keep ourselves toasty. We'll be heading up to The Braids to avoid potential icy roads and hopefully work up some heat. You regulars know the drill but if any new faces want to come hang out with a lovely, welcoming bunch of broads then what better night than tonight. We like to keep you in suspense - Adna might lead or it could be Ruby, either way you will be in capable hands and one of us (if not both) will be awaiting you eagerly outside John Lewis with plenty of time to do some intro's, catch up and break down the route.

Hello QoPlettes! Forgive us for the late update but we will be riding this Wednesday as usual!
Ruby will be leading this weeks ride and it will be something familiar but taking a Crammond route we have
done before and reversing it. Weathers looking promising for a beach ride but it's dark out there so please don't forget a good set of charged lights!Meet up in front of John Lewis for a 7pm departure! Ruby will be there 10 minutes early to say hi and do any intros/make sure we don't start without anyone.

Hello QoPlettes!
It's finally happening - this week we are going to be doing "the three peaks" Edinburgh QoP version. Arthurs Seat, the Castle and finish proudly up Calton Hill. Think cosy, warm climbs and views for days (and don't worry, we will have a back up route in case the weather is looking too ropey).

Update to this weeks ride: we are not going to be able to do the "choose your own ride" option because of a change in circumstance but we have a happy compromise lined up so hopefully you can all still make it.
There will be one group this week as usual. Nice party pace, no drops, slightly longer than usual but fairly easy terrain with a wee optional fun midway surprise.
See you all at John Lewis at 7pm (I will be there 10mins early to check in with you all) Here's the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/37624519

This weeks ride for anyone who wants a peek! Hopefully we will have a nice wee tailwind back along Portobello Promenade.

Hello pedal people!
Another Leith Links start this week. The meet-up spot is just across from Twelve Triangles on Dukes Street (which will sadly be closed at this time). Led by Ruby, it will be a nice party pace group with the option to split into two groups if we get busy.
No drop as always as we will wait at key points to keep the group together.
